fairyd123I think Dead and Breakfast might just be the strangest horror movie I've ever seen. I was just about coping with the direct to camera musical interludes but they pretty mcuh lost me right about the time that the zombies started dancing. Still JDM just look really cute in a sherrif's outfit and cowboy hat - even if he was playing one of the dumbest men who ever lived!
Torchwood - this show never fails to disappoint me. I could cope with it being so deriative (Voyager did an episode in which Amelia Earheart appeared for Christ's sake), with the characters being cyphers, with there being no consistency at all in the team's relationships, with the gratutious and painfully unsexy sex talk (Owen saying he liked the Pilot's face when she comes made me quite queasy) and with John Barrowman being so pitifully under utilised if each episode wasn't so fucking dull. I nearly dozed off during tonight's episode. I really can't believe that not only has it been renewed but that they're moving it to BBC 2 for the second season. Let's hope they fire the entire writing team during the hiatus!
