I have been so horribly unproductive today it's a joke!

Of course part of it is that I'm so excited that Jensen is attending Asylum next year. Jensen and Jared in the same room . I'm far too old to be this excited!

But man Supernatural just can't catch a break ratings wise can it? Barely 40,000 more viewers than the previous first run episode. There's just no room for growth in that time slot - Scrubs is stealing our 18-49 demo. I find myself rather uncharitably wishing that they'd can Veronica Mars (don't kill me VM fans) just so that SPN could move and get the Tuesday slot.

Off to watch Crotoan - from what I've been reading it sounds like an awesome ep. I wanna see fanfic people. This time next week I want to be able to rec an entire entry of Crotoan codas!

I did buy an Asylum ticket a couple of weeks ago, even though can't afford it. Jensen and Jared will be awesome. (Though I'm still holding out that they book Brooke Nevin, she was in Spn and Smallville - but they've got another girl like that so...*fingers crossed*

I'd rather them cancel VM than anything happen to Scrubs. (It's now the only time in the week I get to spend bonding with my kid brother - I work Monday- Friday and he works at Tesco Friday, Sat and Sun.) But Scrubs does appeal to a wider audience. They should put it up against something less popular.

No chance of Brooke Nevin I'm afraid - the annoucement said that Jensen was the final guest. I'm not surprised. I didn't think the organiser would be able to afford both of them - now that he has them both he won't be able to afford anyone else.

But yay more of my flist attending!

Scrubs is unlikely to continue past this year in the US simply because Zach Braff wants to do movies. and unlike most TV actors he actually has a really good shot of being a bona fide star.

It's a clip from their upcoming musical episode - its hilarious. Unfortunately when it airs it will probably trash SPN in the ratings - sigh!

Aww...*pouts* Ah well. Wasn't likely. I'll hold out for collectormania, which is much more likely anyway. She was a regular in the 4400, so there's a chance.

Zach Braff does make good films (Garden State, The Last Kiss- he even makes fun romances)...but but but SCRUBS. You can't not love that show. It's priceless.

Though I wonder what they'll do with Elliot, because Sarah Chalke has admitted before that she can't sing. At all...

Hey, ckll advices me to ask you questions about the Asylu convention. Hope you don't mind.
I never been to one so I'm kinda lost.
I live in france, so I'll take the train to Paris (cause I'll leave near the German's border), then the Eurostar(still a train)to go to London.

-How did you do to pay a room that you want to share, one is suppose to pay all or each one half the money???
-Do you know about the food, are we oblige to eat at the Hotel, or can we go outside?
-It takes place from friday to monday, but it's the same the three days or every day is different. Because if Jensen is there only a day I wan't to go to this one lol.
-We can bring pictures with us for them to be autographed?
I don't know anything about conventions lol but I'm still excited!!!

Hi Darkfan! Happy to help. Once you get to London on Eurostar you'll need to find your way on the London underground (or get a taxi but the underground would be cheaper) to London Euston where you'll need to catch a train to Coventry. The train to Coventry takes about an hour from Euston and you don't need to change trains. Once at Coventry you'll need to get a taxi to The Britannia which is the overflow hotel. The event is being held at The Leofric which is apparently 5/10 minutes away from The Britannia.

To book a hotel you'll need to call Wayne (details on the Rogue Events home page) and book a twin room through him. You'll need to give him your credit card details to secure the booking and you can either pay for the room now or nearer to the event. Then it will be up to you and whoever you are sharing the room with to sort out the cost between you. You won't be able to pay the organiser just your share of the money.

You aren't obliged to eat at the hotel - theres a big shopping centre near to the Leofric so you'll be able to eat fairly cheaply by buying your own food there.

The con is a three day event and Jensen and Jared (as far as I'm aware) will be there all weekend. On the Friday they'll be a party in the evening (and maybe an opening ceremony at which the boys will make a brief appearance but I'm not too sure about that) then on the Saturday you'll have photo sessions (which you need to pay separately for - i think they're £15 each for Jensen and Jared in one photo it will probably be more expensive), talks from all the guests and then autographs in the afternoon. Saturday and Sunday will be the same but I would advise going for the full weekend.

I don't know if you can bring your own photos to get autographed. The organiser hasn't announced the rules yet. You get one free autograph from Jensen and two free autographs from Jared (additional autographs will need to be paid for). Last year the organiser did allow people to bring their own photos but he could well not allow that this year as people bringing their own photos actually costs him money. He's getting a lot of questions about autos so I'm sure once he's finished working out the details with Jensen and Jared he'll post on the event forums about it.

There just one think that I didn't undersatnd it says on the website that you need to book your ticket nd then your hotel room, but if we go at four, we all buy a ticket but only one pay for the room right?
What's the difference between a twin and a double room?

If you and your friend are booking tickets separately you'll each pay for your ticket but only one of you needs to book the hotel room.

A double room contains one double bed. A twin room contains two single beds. Unless you're attending with your partner you should book a twin room.
