Jensen to do UK convention

Do you hear that? That's the sound of me squeeing violently!

I confess I'd known about this for a while but its just been announced that Jensen will be doing a convention in the UK next year.

He's attending Breakout - a Prison Break convention run by Starfury Events on 18 to 20 May 2007 at the Thistle Hotel, Heathrow. I've been to tons of Starfury events and they're always wonderful and I am just so excited that Jensen is going to one!

Tickets are £75 but I don't think they're on sale yet . Robert Knepper (T-Bag) has also been announced.

Its the weekend after Jared's convention so noone has to worry about them clashing.

Now excuse while I go compose myself - two consecutive weekends of Jensen and Jared!

Tickets are going on sale next weekend to people going to his Firefly con (like me!) but they should be available online and by phone afterwards. His booking number is 07930319119 but don't ring until after the 18th September cos the organiser will just get pissy!

I've been to loads of Starfury events and they're always huge fun - the hotel is a fucking dive with possibly the worst Eastern European staff imaginable but the convention venue itself is great and the guests really do just tend to hang around at the bar until the wee early hours. Ah photoshoots with Jensen - such happy thoughts!

I actually suspect Jared's event will be better because I doubt they'll be more than 200 there so the access to Jared will be great whereas Breakout will easily attract 600/800 +. Still Jensen and Robert Knepper - so there!

I'm coming. I've decided. We can have a drink, if you want. I'll take the pics...actors don't interest me. Hopefully I'll have weaned myself off the Football RPS, because it's seriously creeping me out.

The actual venue is pretty small so it will be easy enough to meet up. Hell I'll just be either on the dance floor or sat in my usual spot until 3 in the morning!
