I usually attend cons by another organiser, and for those, a booklet is sent out with the ticket which explains the concept of a con - what is included, main events etc. And also, how NOT to behave!
Even so, that organiser has had to ban cameras at the parties because a minority of attendees spoiled it for the rest by hassling those guests who joined in, and taking photos of them without permission.
